SALVATION:
The Roman Road To Salvation
Have you come to a point in your life that you want to know that if you die today, you would be saved? Would you like to know? Then take note of the following plan:
1. Did you know that all of us was born sinners and need a Savior?
2. The price of sin is eternal separation from God.
3. Jesus Christ paid the penalty of sin for you and me.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
[Romans 5:8].
4. You need to repent (turn from sin).
5. By faith you may be saved, Just admit you are a sinner and ask Jesus Christ into your heart and save you.
-
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto right-eousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10]
-
For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." [Romans 10:13]
Will you trust Jesus right now to save you? IF so, pray this prayer:
Dear God, I realize that I am lost and in need of a Saviour, I want to be saved. I confess Jesus as Lord of my life, forgive me of my sin. I invite Jesus into my heart to save me. I believe Jesus died for my sin, raised from the dead for my justification. I believe this in my heart and confess it with my mouth, so I now believe you have saved me. Thank you Lord for saving me.

Necessary Steps To Salvation
-
ACKNOWLEDGE - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" [Romans 3:23]. "God be merciful to me a sinner" [Luke 18:13]. You must acknowledge in light of God's Word that you are a sinner.
-
REPENT - "Except you repent, you shall all likewise perish" [Luke 13:3]. "Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" [Acts 3:19]. You must see the awfulness of sin and then repent of it. Repent means to turn away from it.
-
CONFESS - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." [Romans 10:9] Read verse 10 also.
-
FORSAKE - "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return unto the Lord... for He will abundantly pardon" [Isaiah 55:7]. sorry for sin is important, but we must want to be done with it once and for all.
-
BELIEVE - "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" [John 3:16]. [Believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross and in His resurrection.
RECEIVE - "He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" [John 1:11-12]. Christ must be received personally into your heart by faith, if the experience of the New Birth is to be yours.
If you wish to receive Jesus Christ into your heart, and receive God's promise of eternal life, it will help you to pray a prayer like this:
Dear God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and worthy of death. But Lord, I believe that you died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. You arose from the dead and are alive today. I ask you to forgive me all my sin, purify my thoughts, words and deeds that Imay turn from my sins and be more like you. Now I ask you Jesus to come into my heart and become Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you Lord, for answering my prayer, and comin into my heart this very monent.
